  • You will learn the signs and stages of labor, the role of the labor support person, the process of birth, and positions for labor and delivery. We will cover what to do during labor, when to go to the hospital, and details about all pain medication options. Our classes are a combination of discussion, demonstration, video presentation, and hands-on-practice.

  • A childbirth workshop is a great way to prepare for labor and birth. Our classes are fun and interactive, even for the guys.. There is a lot of hands-on-practice. We'll discuss Lamaze breathing strategies and relaxation skills, comfort measures, acupressure, massage and labor support. You'll also learn about epidurals, c-sections, and other medical interventions so you'll be prepared for whatever comes up. Of course you may always call us with any questions throughout your entire pregnancy &  delivery.  

  • During childbirth classes, Kay, our instructor, will demonstrate comfort techniques such as back massage and relaxation, and you’ll get a chance to practice them, to ask questions, and to get feedback on how you’re doing. This hands-on learning is important for everyone.  We limit the class size to five couples so you will receive the attention  needed for your specific goals for childbirth.  A childbirth education class helps to filter the information, and helps you understand the essentials for you specifically.
  • This is your chance to ask all those questions you have been wondering about - no matter how silly they seem. Our classes are a great way to have your partner feel more involved in the childbirth experience.
